AIKEN, S.C. (WJBF) – The Aiken County Coroner’s Office responded to a utility solar site in reference to a body that was found Thursday.
According to the coroner, officials responded on Oct. 30 shortly after 10 a.m. to the 2000 block of Edgefield Highway after the body was found.
Due to stages of decomposition, the male victim was not immediately identified, Coroner Darryl Ables said in a statement.
A cause and manner of death will be determined after Forensic Anthropology testing are completed.
The Coroner’s Office along with the Aiken County Sheriff’s Office are continuing to investigation.
