Drugs horror rocks Weatherfield next week, as a number of Coronation Street youngsters experiment with drugs at a party.
It all kicks off when Bernie Winter (Jane Hazlegrove) suggests that Aadi Alahan (Adam Hussain) host a midsummer party, and invite all of his pals around.
She thinks they’re boring – probably drawing on memories to her own wild youth at the Haçienda – and he’s keen to prove her otherwise.
As some of the teens head the bash, Brody is up to mischief again when he produces a bottle of LSD and tells a concerned Dylan that he’s intending to scout for some potential customers.
When Aadi discovers his intensions, he swiftly kicks him out of No. 7. But although Brody is gone, the drugs are still in the house…
After dividing the substance into three cups, Summer Spellman (Harriet Bibby) suggests that she and Nina Lucas (Mollie Gallagher) take a swig, given she tried some when she lived in America.
Aadi takes the rest of the narcotics, but is soon distracted by an incident and leaves his behind.
When he returns, he realises that someone else has taken it instead, and a dramatic series of events follows!
Lauren Bolton (Cait Fitton) feels ill and decides to leave, but soon finds herself in a nightmare situation.
Can she escape?
As the night draws to a close, still high from the LSD, Nina and Summer wander into the darkened cafe and are quickly spooked by the sound of incoming sirens.
They cling to one another, terrified.
The next day, the group have to grapple with the events of the evening. But what exactly has happened?
