From the Betway Premiership to the FIFA Club World Cup stage, Mamelodi Sundowns will kick off their Group F campaign against South Korea’s Ulsan Hyundai FC in Inter&Co Stadium, Orlando, Florida.
The game will start at 00:00 on Wednesday. DStv’s SuperSport Channel 203 will broadcast the match live.
Sundowns qualified for the prestigious tournament as one of four African clubs alongside Al Ahly, Wydad Casablanca and Esperance, based on consistent performances in the CAF Chaampions League over the past four years.

Sundowns’ opponents Ulsan HD, currently third in the K League, have won their domestic league title five times, most recently in 2024.
The club also lifted the Korean FA Cup once, in 2017, and, most importantly, the Champions League twice, in 2012 and 2020.

The Sundowns coach continued: “So I have quite a [good] idea of the level of teams and players, but it’s quite challenging to understand that teams will make a big difference, and we want to be very strong as a team.
“We know we have very important players, but we want to be very strong as a team when we arrive [back] in the Champions League,” Cardoso concluded.
