The Thomas Frank era at Tottenham will begin against Burnley on the opening day of the the 2025-26 Premier League season.
While a long wait for silverware came to an end thanks to a Europa League triumph, it was not enough to save Ange Postecoglou from the axe after a dismal 17th place finish.
Frank has been tasked with lifting the north Londoners from their malaise and will get his first taste of the north London derby against Arsenal on November 22.
The former Brentford boss heads back to his former club in December.
The 2025/26 Premier League season will start on the weekend of August 16/17 – just 83 days after the end of the 2024-25 campaign.
So far this summer, Spurs have signed Mathys Tel on a permanent deal from Bayern Munich for a fee of around £30million.
Tel joined Spurs on loan in January, scoring three goals. There is also interest in Brentford star Bryan Mbeumo, who Manchester United are also trying to sign.

What Daniel Levy has said ahead of the new season
In Frank, Spurs have brought in an experienced and savvy Premier League operator who has shown he can set sides up to beat the league’s best.
The new head coach has not spoken since confirmation of his appointment but Spurs chairman Daniel Levy is confident they have brought in the right man.
‘Whenever you have a new coach, it’s always a fresh start,’ Levy said. ‘You always have different ideas. But we want to build on the success of winning a trophy last season.
‘One of the things that stood out to me with Thomas – clearly [he’s] highly intelligent, great communicator, super human being, plus all the other technical aspects that are obviously important. But they really stood out to me, those three parts.’
