Kaizer Chiefs goodbyes: Two midfielders, striker and defender

Kaizer Chiefs supporters are excited to meet new players before the 2025/26 Betway Premiership season in August, but first, the club should focus on exits.

It is still June, and coach Nasreddine Nabi’s 2024/25 season squad already has four players fewer and more exits are still expected.

Two of the four departed players, Njabulo Blom and Edmilson Dove, have been somewhat surprising to Kaizer Chiefs fans.

  • Sabelo Radebe, 25, central midfielder
  • Njabulo Blom, 25, central midfielder
  • Ranga Chivaviro, 32, center forward
  • Edmilson Dove, 30, left-back.

In the meantime, Kaizer Chiefs have reportedly signed two new left-backs. The names are Paseka Mako from Orlando Pirates, and Aphiwe Baliti from SuperSport United.

The Soweto giants are linked with several foreign midfielders and strikers, including Feisal Salum, Maxi Nzengeli, Jean Charles Ahuoa, Stephen Mukwala, Fiston Mayele, Robert Polievka, and Denis Kibu.

SOUTH AFRICAN PLAYERS TARGETED

Due to the Premier Soccer League’s foreign quota of five players per club, Kaizer Chiefs coach Nasreddine Nabi is also eying players with South African IDs.

The list includes Asanele Velebayi, Oswin Appollis and Lebogang Phiri. Reports say Amakhosi have also signed Mihlali Mayambela from Aris Limassol and Ime Okon from SuperSport United.
