Emilie Kiser’s husband shares exact details of how son Trigg drowned in police interview

A police interview with Emilie Kiser’s husband has now been made public, which reveals exactly what happened to their three-year-old son Trigg, who tragically drowned in their garden pool on 12th May.

Brady Kiser told Detective M. Rietz from Chandler Police that his wife was out with friends and he was left at home to care for their newborn and toddler, a search warrant affidavit obtained by The Tab reveals.

Access to the search warrant applications was granted to The Tab by the Maricopa County Superior Court, and the documents contain a summary of a police interview with Brady shortly after the incident on 12th May.

The dad told police that after they finished eating, Trigg went into the backyard to play using the sliding door. He saw Trigg playing near the pool, which was “not uncommon” as it usually had a protected cover over it.

Brady said he got distracted by his newborn and lost sight of Trigg for three to five minutes. When he looked outside, he saw the toddler floating in the pool and jumped in to rescue him before calling 911 immediately.

At 6:41pm on 12th May, the Chandler Police Department received a 911 call reporting the drowning of a three-year-old child. Officers responded to the call and performed CPR at the scene.

Trigg was then taken to Chandler Regional Medical Center and later transferred to Phoenix Children’s Hospital in a critical condition.

While at the Arizona home, police noticed two surveillance cameras in the garden and a search warrant was requested to try and obtain the video footage, which may have captured the incident.

Trigg sadly died in hospital on 18th May, six days after the drowning incident occurred. Emilie then filed two lawsuits to stop certain records relating to the incident from being publicly released.

Her lawyer said Emilie is “going through a parent’s worst nightmare right now” after losing their son. They added that the influencer is “trying her best to be there for her surviving son” but “every day is a battle”.
