On his visit to Mexico, Tharman Shanmugaratnam is scheduled to hold a meeting this Monday, December 1, with President Claudia Sheinbaum Pardo at the National Palace at 10:00 am.
The SRE indicated that yesterday at 7:30 p.m., the president, his wife and entourage received a welcome from the undersecretary for North America, at the Mexico City International Airport.

The head of the federal Executive will hold an official welcome ceremony at the National Palace to receive the president of Singapore. According to what was mentioned by the President during the morning conference this Monday, the Mexican Embassy in Singapore will be formalized and other topics of interest will be addressed.
The visit coincides with the 50th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between both nations.
Sheinbaum will lead the formal ceremony in the Patio of Honor, where both heads of state will hold a private meeting with members of their respective cabinets.
