MEXICO CITY.- Elements of the Secretary of Citizen Security (SSC) of Mexico City They arrested a man identified as possible responsible for attack a dog with a knifefact that caused the death of the animalin the streets of the Benito Juárez neighborhood.
According to the agency, the uniformed officers were carrying out patrol work when a citizen asked them for support on the corner of Plutarco Elías Calles and Kennedy.
The complainant reported that his dog, white in color, had been injured with a sharp weapon by a subject who fled.
With the physical and clothing description provided by the affected person, the officers began their search and They located a man who was walking quickly a few meters from the place.
After telling him to stop, they carried out a preventive search in accordance with police protocols, during which they secured a metal boxer knife approximately 20 centimeters.
At the same time, the police located the medium-sized dog, which had blood spots on its body. Specialized personnel came to evaluate it and confirmed that he no longer had vital signs.
At the request of the complainant, officers detained the alleged attacker, a 28-year-old man. He was later transferred and placed at the disposal of the Public Ministry agent, who will determine his legal situation and initiate the corresponding investigation file.
