Mexico City, December 2 (However).- Dua Lipathe Albanian, British and Kosovo singer, songwriter and model, opened a taqueria thematic for a limited time in Mexico City (CdMx) that generated a furor among his fans, but tickets to access this place were quickly sold out.
As part of the tour “Radical Optimism” performed by Dua Lipa in the GNP Stadium between December 1, 2 and 5, the singer temporarily opened the “Taqueria La Dua“, which was established in a location with the same business called “Los Caramelos”, which is located on Avenida Michoacán 93, almost on the corner with Atlixco, in Colonia Condesa.
The service hours of this business are from 12:00 pm to midnight, during the same period of Dua Lipa’s performances. That is, until Friday, December 5. However, tickets were limited to a total of 800 per day and are already sold out.

The pass to access “Taquería La Dua” arrived through an email that indicated a specific visit time and a maximum stay time of 30 minutes. The invitation to the venue included a gift bag with napkins, a taquero hat, and a 2026 calendar with a photo of Dua Lipa.
The service was included in the package with a cost of 250 pesos, while the menu is as follows:
- Radical Optimism Taco (Caramel with Cheese).
- Taco Houdini (with chicharrón).
- Taco María (arrachera).
- Consumed Illusion.
- Training Season Water (cucumber bottled water)
The “Taquería La Dua” generated a lot of expectation among the public who attended, which caused long lines on the opening date of the place. Also on social networks, some users expressed their point of view about the event.


“I want to go to ‘Taquería La Dua’ to eat some 500-varo tacos so I can post that I actually ate at Dua Lipa’s taqueria,” commented an X user.
Other people did not share the same spirit as those who came to this business.
“I’ll tell you, it was not Dua Lipa who had the idea and/or decision to open a taqueria called “La Dua”, everything was from her label, who know the Chilango market perfectly and how they were going to be excited by something like that. They are only using her image,” said another user in response to a comment.
