Live monitoring of earthquakes in Mexico. SPECIAL/SSN
This Monday, December 1, we will share with you the data about the tremors that occur in our country, according to records from the National Seismological Service (SSN), Mexican institution in charge of monitoring seismic activity in Mexico in real time.
The SSN operates a network of seismological stations distributed throughout the country that send data continuously and in real time to an analysis center to determine the date, time, magnitude, epicenter and depth of earthquakes.
The strongest earthquake of the day
The SSN recorded the strongest earthquake in Chiapas: it reached a magnitude of 4.4 at 4:11 p.m., 27 km east of Villaflores. The incident had a depth of 221.8 km.

Earthquake in Oaxaca
The southern state of Mexico recorded a magnitude 4 tremor at 04:09 a.m., 83 km southeast of Salina Cruz. The incident had a depth of 17.1 km.

Earthquake in Jalisco
This morning, the western state of Mexico recorded a magnitude 4.1 tremor at 4:00 a.m., 360 km southwest of Puerto Vallarta. The incident had a depth of 15 km.
