PROGRESS.— In follow-up to the citizen reports received through the Platforma Muni, staff of the Directorate of Transport and Urban Mobility, in coordination with the Directorate of Public Security and Trafficcarried out a new intervention in the removal operation of abandoned vehicles in this port.
The action took place on 83rd and 130th Street, where two units that had notifications since last October 22 were removed, municipal authorities reported. Being in an evident state of abandonment, the vehicles represented an obstacle to mobility and public order in the area.
Citizens were urged to continue reporting abandoned vehicles or any object that obstructs public roads, in order to maintain free spaces for pedestrian and vehicular traffic.
The first precedent of this situation was recorded last October, when at least twenty vehicles parked outside a mechanical workshop that hindered the road at the height of the road were removed. Guadalupe Chapel.
At the time it was reported that this operation was the result of citizen complaints, the same thing that happened on this day, in which it was reported that the reports received arrived through the Platforma Muni.
This would be the third time, at least of which we are aware, that these operations have been carried out in which they seek to free the roads of Progreso.
