Lewis Barton (Bradley Riches) has returned to Emmerdale, and he needs his brother’s help.
The newcomer disappeared a few weeks ago after discovering that Moira Dingle (Natalie J Robb) killed his mum Emma. Lewis wanted to report Moira to the police after learning this news, adamant that his mum deserved justice.
In an attempt to stop him, Ross Barton (Michael Parr) told Lewis that he would report him for growing weed in his loft, if he said anything about Moira’s secret. Ross also pointed out to his brother that the police more than likely wouldn’t even believe his claim, given that he’s only just entered the family.
Upset over the manipulation, Lewis concluded that he no longer wanted a brother like Ross. He left the village, leaving Ross quietly gutted.

In tonight’s episode, Lewis was back.
He told Ross that after locking Mackenzie Boyd (Lawrence Robb) in his loft, his landlord discovered the weed. He’s now been evicted and needs a place to live, as well as somewhere he can continue growing the plants.
Just before Lewis’ arrival, Ross and Mack learnt that Moira had received another large bill from the water company. Wanting to help her, Ross realised an opportunity was staring him in the face after his brother’s news.
Will Ross betray Lewis again?

Yes
-
No
Ross told Lewis that the plants can be stored somewhere on the farm, and he can also live with them. Lewis was grateful, but doesn’t know that his sibling aims to betray him again in the near future.
Before the revelation about Emma’s death, it was clear Ross and Lewis were enjoying each other’s company.
As the weeks go by, what will be more important to Ross? His new brother, or going behind his back for money?
