“If Europe wants war, we are prepared”

In this sense, he said that his country has no intention of going to war with the powers of said continent, “but if Europe suddenly wants to go to war with us and he does, we are ready right now“.

In a press conference, the Russian president explained that Europe excluded itself of the peace process with Ukraine, since the powers of that continent maintain the “delusions“of inflicting strategic defeat on Russia.”They confused what was desired with what was real. “They can’t admit it to themselves,” he declared.

In this sense, Putin pointed out that due to dissatisfaction with the results of the peace dialogue, Europe began to “hinder” the government of the President of the United States, Donald Trump, to “achieve peace through negotiations”, which is why he considered that said bloc does not have “a peaceful agenda.”

“They are on the side of the war and, even when they supposedly try to introduce some changes to Trump’s proposals, we clearly see that all these changes have a single objective: to block the entire peace process and put forward demands that are absolutely unacceptable for Russia,” he commented.

Given the above, the president explained that if Europe decides to go to war with Russia, “Moscow will have no one to negotiate with.”

“We are not going to go to war with Europe, I have already said it a hundred times. But if Europe suddenly wants to go to war with us and does so, we are prepared right now,” Putin said.

Russian presidential advisor Yuri Ushakov met with White House special envoy Steve Witkoff on Tuesday to discuss the Donald Trump administration’s peace plan, to which a journalist asked the Moscow representative if, after the negotiations, we are closer or further away from peace with Ukraine, and Ushakov responded: “No further, that’s for sure.”

The Russian presidential advisor considered that the meeting with the White House special envoy was “very useful, constructive and quite substantial,” but acknowledged that there is still “a lot of work to doboth in Washington and Moscow.”

“The most important thing is that a very useful discussion took place and that the parties expressed their readiness to continue working together to achieve a long-term peaceful solution in Ukraine,” Ushakov said.
