Presents the first regional Mexican album created in the purest Chilango style
SALVADOR TREJO
MEXICO CITY. – Because he is proud of the neighborhood and the culture of Mexico City and its surroundings, Eme Malafe He challenged everyone and created the first regional Mexican album in the purest style. punishmentwhere he reflected his own experiences and those of the people who live in the country’s capital.
The album is named The Capital and with him Malafe wants to demonstrate that in Mexico City you can also go regional like they do in Sinaloa, Tijuana, Nuevo León and other cities in the country.
“Many said that on this side they didn’t make corridos, that they didn’t make regional music, but my rebellion was to show them that yes and here goes an album of 16 songs. I did it this way because there are 16 mayoralties and in the art of the album cover they drew the map of the entire Mexico City and part of the State of Mexico on my face,” he explained.
The singer told IT JUST IS! that “this time I didn’t worry because my songs would go viral, but because they remind those who listen to them of an ex, a boyfriend, a brother or a loved one who is no longer here. That connected me really well with the people, because I represented what we are on this side of the Capital and I feel very proud to go out with this flag. It’s really cool to walk through the streets of the neighborhoods and see how the morros, the young people and the adults listen to my songs in the trucks, on cell phones, at street stalls,” he noted proudly.
Finally, Eme Malafe announced that he will perform at the BB Auditorium on December 19, where he will sing live the songs of The Capital to the rhythm of a band and mountains.
DID YOU KNOW WHAT?
