Kat Slater (Jessie Wallace) has faced an awful lot of drama since her daughter Zoe Slater (Michelle Ryan) returned to EastEnders.
The ongoing storyline at the moment has seen Zoe attempt to work out who her stalker is.
Around Halloween, Zoe was involved in a few incidents that left her adamant that someone is out to get her.
Zoe was pointing the finger at her little brother Tommy Moon (Sonny Kendall) after spotting that ominous festive ‘DIE’ message scrawled across the Vic window. What Zoe didn’t know was that downstairs, Jean Slater (Gillian Wright) had already confessed the whole thing to Lily Slater (Lillia Turner).
After Kat warned that ‘one more incident’ might send Zoe packing, Jean, desperate, unravelled and terrified of losing Freddie Slater (Bobby Brazier) after already saying goodbye to Stacey Slater (Lacey Turner), decided to manufacture that very incident herself.
Clearly struggling despite insisting she was still on her medication, Jean’s behaviour grew more erratic, her speech more frantic, and her grip on reality visibly weakening in front of Lily.
Lily continues to struggle at home with Jean in upcoming episodes, as she carries on shutting herself away. Following a conversation with Lily, Kat and Alfie Moon (Shane Richie) head to Number 31 and discover the place in a complete mess.
Sitting with Jean, Kat is left stunned by an admission from her, and vows to support her. Heading back to the pub, Kat makes an unlikely ally in her quest to help Zoe, but it leads to a shock discovery.
Can’t wait for the next twist?

In the week, Kat is left reeling from unexpected news, but her focus changes quickly, as she learns that Zoe is trapped in a fire at Number 25.
As Kat updates Alfie, they decide to host a community dinner at the pub on Christmas Day. As the duo deal with the reaction from some of the residents regarding this, Zoe comes face to face with Max Branning (Jake Wood) again, who is back in Walford.
The chaos hasn’t stopped since Zoe got back, are things only going to get worse now Max is in town?
