This Morning’s vet Dr Scott Miller has appeared to confirm that he is getting a divorce from his wife Zö Christien.

The show’s popular resident vet has shared details on the ‘tough period’ he’s been going through with his followers on Instagram.

The 47-year-old Australian native shares Summer, Quinn, Jackson and Riley with Zö and typically keeps his private life away from the spotlight.

In his candid new social media post, he shared a snap cuddling his dog Mango in the woods.

‘Looking forward to the future. It’s been a tough period, but I’m so grateful for my kids, my amazing and supportive friends, my health…and my dog,’ he wrote in the caption.

‘Mango has been my constant companion and his unconditional love has helped me weather the storm. Hopefully clear skies and happiness ahead. Love, kindness and healing to all.’

‘Life can be unfair and brutal, but dogs never let us down and gives us unconditional love, without words they know at all time what we need,’ wrote Marianne in the comments.

‘Glad you have beautiful Mango, Yeti and amazing people in your life, hopefully days ahead will be filled with more bright days than dark ones. Sending you lots of love.’

He has also been open in recent months about coming to terms with an autism diagnosis he received last year.

Dr Scott has said he first thought he might have the condition after recognising mannerisms in his autistic children as they played, that mirrored his own mannerisms.

Originally from Brisbane, Dr Scott has over two decades of experience as a clinical veterinary surgeon and a book to his name titled Puppy Parenting.

He first got his start on TV as a vet for the chickens on Big Brother, and later appeared on Crufts, Blue Peter and The Paul O’Grady Show.
