Thomson, GA (WJBF) – One person is dead after a shooting in Thomson.
Around 9pm Thursday, police were called out to the 400 block of Bussey Avenue.
41-year-old Michaeline Lowe of Thomson was found shot and taken to Piedmont McDuffie Hospital.
McDuffie County Coroner, Paul Johnson said Lowe died shortly after.
An autopsy has been scheduled.
No suspect information has been released.
The GBI and the Thomson Police Department are investigating.
