Police in Norway are searching a shopping centre for potential casualties after a gunman opened fire in the building this morning.
At least one shot was fired at the Storo Storsenter complex in the capital of Oslo just before 11am local time (10am UK time), authorities told local media.
The suspected gunman has been arrested and is currently being questioned by detectives.
Officers have not yet found any injured people but were continuing to search the building around half an hour after the incident.
Shopping centre bosses told Norwegian media that staff have ‘evacuated all the customers’.
Police have not ruled out the possibility of there being more than one person involved in the attack and have surrounded the building with police cars, with a helicopter in the air above.
Authorities say the scene has been secured but are urging people to stay away from the centre so emergency services can work effectively.
