In an era of Love Island getting increasingly boring, where new girls are afraid to be messy and go for what they want in favour of placating the other women in the villa and being a ‘girl’s girl’ in order to have an easy life and probably get a nice brand deal at the end of it – she’s a breath fresh air. What makes a good bombshell? The very name alone tells you what you need to know and what makes them successful. They need to come in and disrupt, and Yasmin has everyone flapping. The guys are clearly intrigued by her forward nature – even if this might not pay off for her in the long run. It’s been a blessing watching the girls who say they’re not threatened by her witness why she is literally a threat.

Every time she sits or stands it’s like she’s got a ruler down her spine. I saw someone saying her pilates instructor must be thrilled and I can’t unthink it now. She doesn’t mess around when it comes to back health. Fitting, considering she’s carrying the entire season on her back!

The online reaction to Yasmin is filled with some haters regarding her Love Island conduct, which is natural. She is admittedly jarring – but even the biggest detractors can’t deny she’s making this season compulsive viewing. I love having a girl in the villa openly say she’s not arsed about finding female friends – and she isn’t bowing down to the clique of Meg, Megan and Helena.
The latter three think they’re eating and are in the right, and no one in the public agrees. It is truly magnificent, and proves Helena NEEDS to stay for this carnage to continue being incredibly engaging.
