The 17-year-old Spanish rider was fatally injured in a training accident in Spain on Sunday, December 7, the Specialized Center for Motor Sports Technification announced via social media.
The tragedy reportedly occurred at the Red Sand Park circuit in Castellon, Spain, according to La Razón.

The statement continued, “The Ricardo Tormo Circuit Technification Center is shocked by this news and all the staff of the CETDM and the Circuit wish to give condolences, love, and a lot of strength to all the family members, colleagues, friends, and close ones of Enzo in these difficult moments.”
Just four days prior to his death, Enzo shared a touching tribute for his father’s birthday.
“Despite those good and bad times, I thank God for living them by your side. You cannot imagine how good of a father you are and how proud I am of you,” he captioned a series of photos with his dad. “Happy birthday, Dad. I love you.”
