Plenty of people up and down the country will be knee deep in gift wrap by now, with the tree decorated, and a loop of Elf, All I Want For Christmas Is You and other classics on repeat.
However, if you’re a horror fan looking for a different kind of chill on a cool winter night, this haunting Amazon Prime Video series might hit the post.
Tell Me Your Name, a Spanish horror show originally known as Dime Tu Nombre, is available on the streamer, with all six episodes ready and waiting to be binged.
The description on Prime Video reads: ‘Toledo, Spain, 1997. The residents of Río Blanco have accepted the settlement of Moroccan seasonal workers in Fuensanta.
‘Coexistence brings tensions, known by Sonia, an NGO leader; Father Ángel, the local priest; and Safir, the imam.
‘What they don’t imagine is that Fuensanta’s foundations hide something capable of unleashing their worst nightmares, regardless of their beliefs or prayers.’
The show stars Michelle Jenner, who has appeared in Netflix’s Spanish series The Cook of Castamar and Berlin, stars as Sonia in the spooky series.
She’s joined by Argentine actor Dario Grandinetti as Father Angel, while Moroccan star Younes Bouab plays Safir.

The series was shot in various locations across Spain, including Tarragona, Madrid, Castilla-La Mancha and Segovia.
There’s a stellar team behind it too, as Skybound Entertainment is also the production company behind The Walking Dead.
The series hit Prime on Halloween this year, and fans were quick to heap praise on the terrifying series.
While some people struggle to watch with subtitles rather than dubs, one viewer ‘made an exception’ because they were so gripped by the show.
‘After a long time I’ve watched a horror show with a good story line, great messaging and creature building,’ Fariha M added on Rotten Tomatoes. ‘Loved each episode.’
Viewers have praised the way the show has a ‘positive portrayal of both Muslim and Christian communities’, while the production quality has also impressed people.
Others, like @ivancabreramendo in IMDb, wrote: ‘Excellent series with great performances from all the actors; interesting temporal context in the series that reviews different moments in time; religion; terror and entertainment – a pleasant surprise.’
