
A woman has died after a collision on the M4 motorway which also injured nine others.
The victim, in her 40s, died at the scene of the crash, which happened just before 11.30pm last night between junctions 16 and 17 near Swindon.
Travelling in the same car was a woman in her 70s, who was seriously injured, and five other people who suffered minor injuries.
Three people travelling in a second car were also taken to hospital with minor injuries.
Police say witnesses reported seeing a white vehicle that may have been involved and left the scene before emergency services arrived.

The motorway’s westbound lanes remained closed between Swindon and Chippenham on Monday morning.
