Kaizer Chiefs renew interest in now free agent ex-target!

Kaizer Chiefs have reportedly gone back in for one of their targets from previous transfer windows according to the latest.

Chiefs are aiming to bolster their attack ahead of what could prove a rigorous season with many players linked.

Chiefs looking to spend smart

If Chiefs are to maximise their budget well, they will also have to box clever on the deals they make. So far, they have proven to be doing so, having reported agreed five deals all quality and with experience. Now according to reports from the Citizen, they could be about to continue that pattern as they eye Rowan Human. But if they’re to do so, they will be facing competition for his services.

“Yes, it’s true that Chiefs are interested, and Durban City are also keen on having him back at the club. I think he’s experienced enough and will succeed if he moves to Chiefs. He can handle the pressure that comes with playing for such a massive club.” Said a source to the publication who is said to be close to both Human and Amakhosi.

Revive interest in free agent Human

Chiefs first registered an interest in Human a couple of seasons ago. The playmaker had come off a good season with the Durban City (previously Martizburg United) and also had Orlando Pirates circling. In the end, Through sporting director Kaizer Motaung JR they reportedly assured the player’s camp they would make a bid. Not all the board members at the club were convinced the trickster was better than what they already had at that time, however,.

The deal to Chiefs then fell through and Human would go on to stay in KwaZulu-Natal with AmaZulu. Now following the 2024/25 season the two parties failed to agree terms, rendering him a free agent.
