Four years ago, in May 2022, Netflix debuted its episodic version of The Lincoln Lawyer, and in the four years since, it’s become one of the best legal dramas to stream. Manuel Garcia-Rulfo is phenomenal as the brilliant attorney Mickey Haller, untangling the most complicated of criminal mysteries while trying to fight his past demons. Adding to the show’s allure is Mickey’s witty and interesting band of staff members, like Lorna (Becki Newton) and Cisco (Angus Sampson), who aid Mickey while providing their own brand of entertainment. The show is a great watch, and millions of Netflix subscribers can attest to the fact.
With that being said, it should come as no surprise that fans of the series have been eagerly waiting for the upcoming fourth season of the show. Especially, (spoiler alert) since viewers last saw Mickey discovering the dead body of his client in his trunk. So, when can fans expect a new season, and what can they look forward to viewing? Well, hint, this February is looking like a bingeable month, and Season 4 has quite the twist.
‘The Lincoln Lawyer’ Season 4 Debuts in February
The early part of February already had a lot of action going on, considering the Super Bowl is slated for February 8, accompanied by the highly anticipated Halftime Show from Bad Bunny. But now, Netflix has officially announced that The Lincoln Lawyer Season 4 is premiering on Thursday, February 5. For superfans of the show and fans of the NFL, it will probably be a busy weekend.
What Is ‘The Lincoln Lawyer’ Season 4 About?
Picking back up where Season 3 left off, the new episodes of The Lincoln Lawyer see Mickey, with the help of his team, trying to prove he didn’t kill his former client. So the big twist here is Mickey is the one on trial, having to rely on his team to provide his defense while he serves as the unlucky client.
None of this will be an easy task, as Mickey and his “family” must face off with Prosecutor Dana Berg (Constance Zimmer), who is arguably more determined to win than any other lawyer Mickey has come up against. Plus, she’s not above using dirty tricks to walk away from a case with a victory. You can get a full sneak peek of the brand-new season in the trailer below.
