LOVE Island fans have joked there’s a “glitch in the matrix” after they became convinced bombshell Yasmin Pettet is an “AI” show plant.
The London-based star – who wiped the entirety of her social media pages ahead of her villa stint – has been at the heart of a shock speculation.

Recently, some ITV2 viewers have claimed the Love Island singleton is an “AI bot” due to her poker-straight posture, glitches on screen and serious expressions.
Yet during a recent episode which showed her chatting to Shakira and Toni on the sofas, fans noted a huge change.
They captured the moment the commercial banking executive “finally lent back” as she rested on the white chairs.
One Love Island regular then joked: “Glitch in the matrix!|”
A second put: “Still stiff,” as a third mused: “New added features to her software update.”
One then joked: “She’s on holiday mode.”
Yet others stood up for the late villa arrival and one put: “God forbid a girl has good posture ffs.”
Another posted: “Tbf she does have very good posture! Wish mine was that good.”
BIZARRE SUGGESTION
The claim gained traction on social media when Yasmin, 24, appeared unusually rigid during the recoupling.
Viewers noted that she stood stiffly by the firepit, blinking slowly and barely reacting to the events unfolding around her.
Clips of Yasmin sitting bolt upright in her bikini during Wednesday night’s instalment have added fuel to the theory, with fans describing her as “glitching” and “robotic”.
One TikTok user posted a video of Yasmin with the caption: “She genuinely scares me,” while another joked, “Is Yasmin AI?” on X, formerly Twitter.
A third viewer wrote: “I saw someone say Yasmin is AI and bro she is literally not real.”
Someone else joked: “Yasmin is the certified first Love island AI icon,” as a fifth chimed in with: “is Yasmin Love Island’s first AI contestant?”
