A man has been charged with murdering his mum after she was found stabbed to death in a thatched cottage in Hampshire.
Gilly Livie was found with serious injuries by paramedics at her home in Cheriton, Hampshire, on January 9.
The 68-year-old grandmother was pronounced dead at the scene, while a man at the scene was taken to hospital with with life-threatening injuries.
He was later revealed to be Daniel Livie, 39, who has now has been charged with her murder.
Hampshire Constabulary said: ‘Gilly was found at an address off the B3046, after we were called at around 10.30am on Friday 9 January.

‘A man was also located at the address and he was taken to hospital with serious injuries.
‘On Monday 19 January, he was arrested on suspicion of murder, and later that day he was taken from hospital and into police custody.
‘This evening (Tuesday 20 January), Daniel Livie, 39, of Winstreet Close, Alton, has been charged with murder.
‘He has also been charged with threats to kill, in relation to alleged threats made to a man on Thursday 8 January.’
He is due to appear at Portsmouth Magistrates Court today.
