Kaizer Chiefs close the gap to Orlando Pirates

Rasebotja issues update on Pirates future
24-year-old Selaelo Rasebotja was signed from the now-defunct SuperSport United. However, injuries and squad competition have limited him to just 11 appearances since his arrival in July 2024.
Speaking to the media at the launch of the 2026 Nedbank Cup, the talented schemer said he was edging closer to a return:
“Right now, I am at a stage where I am slowly being integrated into full training,” Rasebotja responded when asked about his recovery by KickOff.

Patrick Maswanganyi has been unpredictable with his output at Pirates, sometimes sizzling but often disappointing. The undoubtedly gifted left-footer has featured nine times in the league out of a possible 12, chipping in with three goals and an assist.
