Since it first began 20 years ago, McDonald’s Monopoly has dished out countless prizes to customers, with more than 11.3 million claimed in 2025 alone.

Its return is almost a holy date for some fans, who excitedly mark their calendars in the hope of winning freebies ranging from Big Macs to hash browns — or, if they’re really lucky, the coveted £100,000 in cash.

And now, one of the fast food chain’s biggest rivals has launched its own version.

Have your wallets at the ready, because it’s time to welcome the Burger King Slurp Prize — which emulates its Maccies counterpart in many ways, but features a slightly more interactive twist .

There are more than a million prizes up for grabs in the new BK game, with their value totalling a whopping (or should that be Whopper-ing?) £1.25 million.

But instead of the stickers appearing on the packaging of burgers and fries, they’ll be stuck exclusively to either regular or large cold drinks (with the exception of milk and bottled drinks).

Once they’ve got their beverages, customers can get in on the action by scanning the sticker using their phone, clicking through to the app, and spinning the wheel to reveal their prize. Basically, it’s slurp, scan, and spin.

Alongside free Burger King favourites, there’s the potential to unlock everything from cash (including a top prize of £25,000), a £5,000 voucher from Loveholidays, a gaming bundle from Nintendo or Sony, a VIP family day out pass , or a Just Eat vouchers.

According to the fast food giant, odds of winning are 1 in 4, and you can play up to 10 times a day. With the game running until 11.59pm on February 22, 2026, you better get cracking.

That’s not all that’s new in the fast food world of late either.

McDonald’s just released a new offer called the ‘Meal Deal Plus,’ which takes the classic £5 bundle launched back in 2024 and upgrades it for 59p more.

The original deal, which has been removed from the app, allowed customers to get a Chicken Mayo or a Cheeseburger, Medium Fries, a soft drink, and four Chicken McNuggets for just a fiver.

But the new ‘plus’ option allows for a little more choice, as people can swap the fries for either a side salad, pineapple stick or carrot sticks, and you still get a ‘bonus side.’
