Katie Price’s looks have been long discussed but recent photos of her sparked concern for her health as she looked ‘gaunt’.
The reality star was braving the rain on a day out with her daughter, Princess, when a photographer snapped the pair.
Sheltered under a bright yellow Moschino umbrella, the pair wore coordinating leggings and jackets, with matching Louis Vuitton bags.
Princess was smiling despite the weather, but fans quickly pointed out how ‘thin’ Katie, 47, looked.
The Mucky Mansion star has now addressed her health on her podcast with her sister, Sophie, revealing she’s planning to go to the doctors.
‘Shall we have a little chat about those pictures with you and Princess at Selfridges because that seems to be doing the rounds everywhere at the minute,’ Sophie asked.
Katie replied: ‘First of all, we didn’t see a photographer, it was p**sing down with rain, and we were running to the train. When I saw them pictures, I was horrified. They’ve doctored them pictures.
‘My face don’t look bad like that. I know I look gaunt, but Jesus. But yeah, I look like I’m ill – hence why I’m going to the doctors tomorrow.
‘I don’t know how many times I have to say to people, “Yes, I know I’ve lost weight,” and there’s obviously a reason I said it to the doctor.’
Sophie prompted her sister for the ‘actual truth’, mentioning the fact that sources within the family have reportedly spoken to the press.
Katie confirmed that she had booked in for blood tests after being unable to gain weight but promised she was looking after herself.
‘I know what you [and] family say to me, and it’s not what the papers are saying,’ she continued. ‘We all know that we’re trying to sort it all out and as soon as I know then I’ll let everyone know.
‘But because I look so bad, it’s had an influence and I’ve had filler put in my face, which I didn’t want to do.’
She said she thinks her face looks better with the filler but is waiting for the swelling to go down.
Defeated, the former I’m A Celeb star added she just ‘wants put on weight’, and despite eating ‘everything she wants’, it’s just not happening.
In a TikTok video from their day out, Princess declared that her mum was ‘in her element’ as they shopped around Selfridges.
She filmed Katie splashing cash on jewellery, dancing in the changing rooms, and hilariously eating a packaged sandwich out of her £1,500 Louis Vuitton handbag while in Cartier.
‘I’m knackered, it’s been a tough day,’ Katie joked as the pair piled into a taxi with too many bags to count.
While both of Katie’s bankruptcies have been discharged, she remains under an income payments order (IPO), obliging her to pay 40% of her monthly earnings from several companies to the trustee of her bankruptcies until February 2027.
