On January 26 (until 2038!) Neptune enters Aries for the first time since 1875 — during which there was the American Civil War, the unification of Germany and Italy, and the rise of spiritualism and new religious movements.
Essentially, this planetary transit is a time of great shifts in beliefs and opinions, in paradigms and world orders.
Aries brings the pursuit of bravery, freedom, and fresh starts.
However, Neptune can be tricky, illusionary and hard to pin down, so we may not see ourselves clearly, or we might struggle with clarifying what we’re really trying to change, and why.
Be patient. Be grounded. Get feedback. Be open-minded. We are ready to do away with being told how it is and find our own way.
Let’s use the tarot to see what kernel of yearning or rebellion or inspiration will change our lives for the coming decade!

Taurus
April 21 to May 21
Tarot card for Taurus for Neptune in Aries: Knight of Wands
Meaning: You are ready for adventures! Although your Taurean nature is a lover of home, stability, and certainty, you’re also ruled by Venus and love pleasure, escapades and travel to beautiful places. You want to live life fully and to the max, to have new experiences, try different things, take risks, and push the envelope on what you’re capable of.
You realise you can be risk-averse at times and this is a trait you’re wrestling with changing. Good for you. Taurus, you can go and do whatever you wish! Make your life an adventure.

Gemini
May 22 to June 21
Tarot card for Gemini for the Neptune in Aries: Seven of Swords
Meaning: I think this is about boundaries. All Geminis are naturally kind, open and social folk. And, over time, they meet their share of crappy folk who are unkind, jealous, or take advantage or compete in a stealthy way. And Gemini’s spirit dulls with these negative encounters until, one day, the Gemini realises they have to control their borders and boundaries – actively and robustly.
This is a game changing moment, and it’s what you’re doing this coming decade: discerning who merits your magic, where it’s best used and rewarded and appreciated. And in knowing your circle, you will unfurl safely to your full potential at last.

Cancer
June 22 to July 23
Tarot card for Cancer for Neptune in Aries: Two of Swords
Meaning: You are becoming much much more proactive about making bold, life-shaping decisions. You see decisions as a tool to carve and sculpt out your niche – in home, work, money, pleasure, and relationships. And you are taking ownership of this, not being ‘done to’ any longer but becoming ‘the doer’.
It feels good. It feels empowering. It feels like you’re getting a second chance at making your life be exactly what you always hoped it would be!

Leo
July 24 to August 23
Tarot card for Leo for Neptune in Aries: King of Cups
Meaning: You are curating a new circle, a tighter and closer relationship circle with the people who have proven their loyalty and value, and whom you see your long-term future with. It’s pointless pouring good energy into unresponsive folk. It’s dangerous to leave doors afar to people who have hurt or betrayed you before.
So, shut up shop. Divert your magic and attention and energy to the folk you know you love and can trust. Doing so will make you feel so strong, loved and needed, and this is the fuel that feeds your soul.

Tarot card for Scorpio for Neptune in Aries: Five of Cups
Meaning: You are experiencing a change of heart about a loss you endured, a lingering grief or regret from the past. Sagittarius
November 23 to December 21
Tarot card for Sagittarius for Neptune in Aries: Ace of Swords
Meaning: You have always been a searingly-honest person and you’re taking this trait to new levels in the next decade, using your ability to get to the crux of things in the most positive way, and adding softer skills like persuasion and mediation to your blistering honesty, so you can expose tensions or conflict’s root causes and resolve them. Or at least try to.
You are becoming more compassionate, wise, and emotionally intelligent… but all of that still rests on your unique honesty and transparency – never change that!
