In September, police in Los Angeles discovered the mutilated and decomposing body of 14-year-old Celeste Rivas inside the trunk of an abandoned Tesla belonging to “Romantic Homicide” singer D4vd, real name David Anthony Burke.
In the aftermath of the tragic find, there has been a lot of investigating, but until this weekend, no arrests related to the case had been made. That changed Friday, when Neo Langston, 23, a friend of D4vd’s, was taken into custody in Montana for allegedly failing to appear in court as a witness.
What We Know So Far
- A decomposing body was found inside a Tesla belonging to musician D4vd at an impound lot in Hollywood on Sept. 8.

Neo arrested, now back in LA
TMZ first reported news of Neo Langston’s arrest Friday. He was booked into Lewis & Clark County Jail on an outstanding warrant for failing to appear as a witness.
While it has not been explicitly confirmed that Neo was arrested for not testifying in the D4v4/Celeste Rivas case, TMZ said Helena, Montana police corroborated that they were assisting the LAPD’s Robbery-Homicide Division when they apprehended the popular streamer, who goes by NeoTheAsian online.
“As we’ve reported, Robbery-Homicide is also leading the D4vd investigation,” TMZ said.
Shortly after being arrested, Neo was transported back to Los Angeles, where he was booked into the Los Angeles Metropolitan Detention Center late Friday night and eventually bonded out on $60,000 bail.
What is Neo accused of?
According to theSan Francisco Chronicle, court records indicate Neo failed to appear in court as a grand jury witness.
This report comes after TMZ reported last month about a grand jury witness who had apparently been “uncooperative.” It’s unclear if this witness and Neo are the same person.
