Did Beyoncé’s New Merch Drop a Big Hint about Her Next Album?

Buckle up Beyoncé fans, as the “Queen of Music” may finally be gearing up to drop the highly-anticipated Act III of her trilogy album project. Back in 2022, Beyoncé announced to the world that she had three albums in the pipeline, and shortly thereafter, released the Grammy-winning dance album, Renaissance. Once she wrapped a record-breaking and critically acclaimed tour of the same name, she shocked the world with a genre switch, diving into her country roots in 2024. Cowboy Carter went on to become her first album to win Album of the Year at the Grammys, and was the source for another sold-out tour.

That being said, her fans have been patiently (or impatiently) waiting for her to start rolling out Act III. Given there were two years between the first two acts, people have maintained a strong hunch that new music is coming out in 2026. Well, those who held onto this belief may be proven correct if Beyoncé’s new Valentine’s Day merch can be taken as a clue.

Is Beyoncé’s Act III a Rock Album?

During the weekend, being appropriately labeled “Snowmaggedon 2026” (aka Winter Storm Fern), members of the Beyhive noticed the “Cuff It” singer dropped some Valentine’s Day merch on her website. While there are several items listed, the “Bodyguard Choker” is what stood out to many.

In the description of the necklace, the very first sentence reads, “A little rock n roll with a whole lotta sexy.” Naturally, the term “rock n roll” got social media thinking she was giving a small hint that the songstress is continuing with her genre experimentation and dropping a rock album next. (To be clear, there is no confirmation of the genre of her next album at this time.)

What Are Beyoncé’s Fans Saying about the Choker?

Speculation about Beyoncé’s next musical moves is sort of a Beyhive pastime. So they’ve had plenty of opinions. Check out some of the posts found on X (formerly Twitter).
