DJ Sarah Story has revealed her top tips for those attending the star-studded festival, and the big names that could take to the stage at Worthy Farm.
This week marks another year of Glastonbury Festival, with the likes of The 1975 and Sir Rod Stewart set to perform.
DJ Sarah Story, who has been attending since 2016, has shared some of the more glamorous moments of the iconic festival, which even led to a hilarious encounter with Location, Location, Location star Kirstie Allsopp.
And as rumours continue to swirl over this year’s surprise acts, fans could be treated to Lady Gaga or Gary Barlow, according to Sarah, who is set to DJ at the festival on Thursday and Friday.
She revealed: ‘Rumours sweep through the industry, and someone told me yesterday that Gary Barlow will perform. I just hope he does Take That material!

‘I’ve also heard Lady Gaga is going to make an appearance. She would fit right in with Glastonbury. I bet she’d end up dancing in NYC Downlow.’
After being a regular at Glastonbury since 2016, Sarah also shared her top tips for surviving the whole weekend, including what to avoid packing, before lifting the lid on the secret tunnels at the festival.
‘If you have a production pass, you can cut through a lot of areas with these hidden tunnels and passageways,’ she told Betway.

‘It makes everything so much faster. There’s not a lot of access to the South East corner, though, so one year it took me two hours on foot to make it from one DJ set to the next. It was so crowded, and you just had to push your way through.’
And there’s plenty of time for celeb-spotting while at the festival, with Sarah revealing exactly what the VIP area is like.

‘There’s an area called Moonbow, which is where a lot of celebs stay. Glastonbury is an event loads of celebrities want to attend, so you do see them mingling about in the crowd,’ she explained.
‘I remember one year seeing Kirstie Allsopp waltzing through the crowd with a crown on her head. I screamed, “I love you!” and she laughed. That’s Glastonbury for you!’
‘A lot of the celebrity campsites are very glam. I’ve stayed in one that had hairdressers on site, makeup artists and even a massage spa. My friend had acupuncture done.’
As for Sarah’s best tips for a first-time festival attendee, she explained how important preparation is when heading to Glastonbury.
‘You just cannot wrap your head around the size of the staff. There are so many people that work at Glastonbury and teams behind everything. There are hundreds of people on the ground and tons of lorries that pass through the backstage area.
‘It takes a lot of prep and obviously they’ve been throwing this festival for a while now, so they’re all pros.’
