Katie Price’s fourth marriage ‘came out of nowhere’ – and her family are completely blindsided, an insider has told Metro.
The former glamour model, 47, tied the knot over the weekend to businessman Lee Andrews in an intimate Dubai ceremony with none of her family in attendance.
This came just days after Katie announced her engagement to self-proclaimed multimillionaire Lee, who is the CEO of Aura Group Future Urban Travel 2027 as well as an ‘Investor in Space X Hybrid Fitness’.
However, Lee’s business, which he claims has been endorsed by the likes of Elon Musk and Kim Kardashian, is reported to be a complete farce.
Amid suspicions over Lee’s flashy online lifestyle, Katie’s family is looking for answers over the unexpected nuptials. Her son Junior, 20, and daughter Princess, 18, who she had during her marriage with Peter Andre, weren’t aware of the relationship.
A source told Metro: ‘Katie’s family are blindsided over the marriage, they almost don’t accept that it’s real.
‘They’ve never met or spoken to Lee and are concerned over how he portrays himself online and whether he is who he says he is. The relationship has come out of nowhere.
‘Princess and Junior don’t know who Lee is and the idea of him potentially becoming their step-dad is unexpected to say the least.
‘Everyone hopes now that Katie is back in the UK they can gain some clarity over what is going on and what her long-term plans are with him.’
The recent proposal marks Katie’s fourth marriage, as her ex-husbands are Peter Andre (2005-2009), Alex Reid (2010-2012), and Kieran Hayler (2013-2021). Lee was also her ninth engagement.
It’s believed she met Lee one week ago and he then popped the question with a blinding ring and heaps of rose petals spelling out ‘Will you marry me?’ with Katie taking to social media to confirm the news.
Shortly after, Katie shared a statement with The Sun, saying: ‘How I met Lee was esoteric; we connected [by] both checking each other’s socials and quickly realised, “Wow, this is for me.”

She went on to declare that Lee has ‘the best version of [her]’, which ‘can only grow more, knowing [they] are each other’s’.
‘On the wedding, all I can say is “fatale,” and this was a wedding at first sight.’
What’s more, it’s been reported that Katie’s ex-boyfriend, Married At First Sight star JJ Slater, 32, has also been left ‘blindsided’ by her new relationship, having called it quits themselves just weeks earlier.
