First picture of all EIGHT Orlando Pirates signings leaked!

Orlando Pirates have announced the signing of eight players during this week, ending all speculation and links. 

Pirates will be looking to close the gap on Mamelodi Sundowns next season and have attacked the market.

Pirates subsequently announce eight signings

On Tuesday they announced the signing of former Mamelodi Sundowns star Sipho Mbule. The playmaker joins Pirates as free agent after being released by the Brazilians. The seven others being, Masindi Nemtajela, Nkosikhona Ndaba, Tshepo Mashiloane, Sihle Nduli, Tshepang Moremi, Sinoxolo Kwayiba and Yanela Mbuthuma. The Sea Robbers are set to begin their pre-season on the 7th of July and all of those players are expected to be there.

“After weeks of speculation and countless headlines across the football social media landscape, Orlando Pirates Football Club can officially confirm the signings of Yanela Mbuthuma (from Richards Bay), Masindi Nemtajela (Marumo Gallants), Tshepang Moremi (Amazulu), Nkosikhona Ndaba (Richards Bay), Sinoxolo Kwayiba (Chippa United), Tshepo Mashiloane (Baroka), and Sihle Nduli (Stellenbosch). The new crop of players will join their new teammates later this morning for Day 1 of preseason. The day will comprise of a series of medical and physical assessments, an essential step in ensuring every player is equipped for the rigours of the campaign ahead. Club doctors and performance staff will meticulously guide the players through baseline tests and evaluations which is vital not only for fitness tracking, but also for tailoring individual training plans.”. Wrote the club on their website.

Also during the day of the announcement, the players were spotted in a picture together wearing fresh Pirates regalia. This before heading off to meet club legends who will be tasked with helping them integrate. Check out the picture below:
