Kaizer Chiefs‘ Marketing and Commercial Director, Jessica Motaung, says a lot is being done behind the scenes to ensure that new signings join the squad during pre-season.
Amakhosi players have returned to training after a month-long break. The team will travel to the Netherlands for their pre-season camp, where they will play several friendly matches.
Although the club has parted ways with five players, no new signings have been announced by the Kaizer Chiefs management as of yet. Ethan Chislett, who spent most of his playing career in England, is believed to have signed with the Soweto giants.
Speaking during the launch of the 2025 Toyota Cup, Motaung said new players would be part of the team that jets off to the Netherlands next month.
“The team is still busy with that, we still have another week to go,” she said as per iDiski Times.

“But certainly there’s a lot of work being done. I am aware of players who are currently signing, so once that is all sorted out, if they are ready to travel to the Netherlands, they will come through.
“Obviously, there may be delays with paperwork and visas. Those are some of the things we may have to deal with.
“But we’re certainly trying to bring the players who can come to the Netherlands and make sure that they are together.

“But certainly, even after that, we’ll be having a lot of tight sessions to make sure people haven’t been part of the tour, they’ll be part of the additional preparations leading up to the Toyota club and also after that.”
