Sam Thompson and Love Island’s Samie Elishi have reportedly called it quits, which comes just six months after his devastating split from Zara McDermott.
It wasn’t necessarily a reality TV pairing anyone expected, but Sam and Samie’s relationship was well-received following his sudden split from Zara – even if we didn’t get any juicy details.
“Sam and Samie are really getting along and if early signs are anything to go by, this could turn into a long-term relationship. It may be early days still, but they do really like each other,” a source earlier told the MailOnline.
“Sam is already introducing Samie to Chelsea by showing her off on the King’s Road over the Easter weekend and given how popular he is in the area, it meant a lot that he wasn’t hiding her away.”
Though rumours of their breakup began to swirl earlier this month, something which was later proven to be false, it seems the relationship between Samie and Sam might actually be over this time, maybe…

People claim Sam Thompson and Samie Elishi have split
A mere week after the split rumours were put to bed, a new source claimed Sam Thompson and Samie Elishi had once again called it quits. There’s been no retraction this time, so maybe it’s stuck?
“They both have busy lives, it just didn’t work out,” the source told The Mirror.
The statement seemed to match earlier comments made to the MailOnline: “Sam and Samie’s romance just fizzled out, there was so much attraction between them initially, but their busy schedules made it difficult for them to spend quality time together.
“For Sam, it was his first relationship since his split from Zara and the feeling is he would rather concentrate on work before getting into another long-term commitment.”

In a new report this week, the MailOnline spotted Sam Thompson’s Raya account active following his split from Samie Elishi. The last time he used the celebrity dating app was in February, two months after his breakup with Zara.
On his resurfaced account, which the publication claimed was activated just hours after the split, Sam listed himself as a presenter and podcaster with a boatload of pictures. These snaps included a picture from Soccer Aid, selfies with Pete Wicks and Marvin Humes, and a few pictures which are available on his Instagram.
Sam Thompson has been approached for comment.
