EastEnders’ Kat Moon (Jessie Wallace) is on the warpath after uncovering the truth about husband Alfie Moon’s (Shane Richie) whereabouts – and Stacey Slater (Lacey Turner) had better watch her back!
Alfie and Stacey have been hiding an absolute whopper of a secret from Kat, after Kat’s estranged daughter Zoe Slater (Michelle Ryan) made a sudden and unexpected reappearance after 20 years.
Kat currently has no idea that Alfie and Stacey saw a somewhat troubled Zoe earlier this month, before she ran off, insisting that reaching out to them was a mistake as she wants nothing to do with her mum.
After learning that Zoe had fled to Barcelona, Alfie left Walford to track her down, determined to give Kat a long-awaited reunion with her youngest child.

However, he covered his tracks by telling Kat he was heading to Australia to visit his brother Spencer Moon (Christopher Parker), claiming Spencer was still broken-hearted following his split from Vicki Fowler (Alice Haig).
But in scenes to air this week, Kat cottons on to Alfie’s lies, leaving their recent marriage in a perilous way.
After Stacey arrives back in Walford, she acts shiftily around Kat – and when Alfie also starts dodging her calls, Kat becomes increasingly convinced that the pair are hiding something.
But Kat soon has other things on her mind when she discovers that son Tommy Moon (Sonny Kendall) and his friend Joel Marshall (Max Murray) have stolen vapes from the Minute Mart.

As Kat seeks some parental advice from Stacey, Stacey claims that hasn’t heard from Alife, but Jean Slater (Gillian Wright) puts her foot in it by revealing that Stacey took a phone call from him that morning.
More suspicious than ever, Kat then calls Spencer to demand answers and it becomes apparent that Alfie is not in Australia and he and Stacey have been lying.
A furious Kat storms over to Stacey’s for a showdown – but will Stacey keep schtum about Zoe or will the truth come spilling out in true shouty Slater fashion?
EastEnders airs these scenes from Monday 30 June at 7.30pm on BBC Two or stream first from 6am on iPlayer.
