Orlando Pirates’ new signing Sipho Mbule has been the most-spoken about player in South African football since June. Why? He is an elegant midfielder that was heavily linked with Kaizer Chiefs.
The 27-year-old from Bethlehem parted ways with Betway Premiership champions Mamelodi Sundowns, and the alleged reason was unprofessional conduct off the field.
His agent, Mike Makaab, offered Mbule to Amakhosi, who simply took too long to make a decision on whether to sign Mbule.

In a player induction video snippet shared by the club via social media, the former SuperSport United academy star explained what he learned from the event. “The sessions from today are very helpful because they are going to make things easier for us,” Mbule told Orlando Pirates’ media.

“We now know what is happening, and we already saw where we are training, and now we can adjust our minds and get ready for the upcoming challenge,” he added.
As a creative and sometimes attacking midfielder, Mbule’s job will be to create goals for his teammates while also collecting his own goals. How did he fair at his previous clubs?
