A Hollyoaks star is set to exit the Channel 4 soap just weeks after first appearing on our screens, with his final scenes having already been filmed.
Earlier this year, it was announced that Waterloo Road star Zachary Sutcliffe would be taking over the role of killer Bobby Costello, with the character appearing on our screens last month.
Despite his young age, Bobby already has three deaths on his hands, having left Sylver McQueen to die in an explosion and pushing Silas Blissett onto an electrified chess board.
When he discovered Verity Hutchinson was looking into his crimes, he also murdered her.
Eventually, he confessed, and was sent to a juvenile detention centre in 2023.
Last month, Bobby broke out of the detention centre and returned to the Hollyoaks village, before Myra McQueen (Nicole Barber-Lane) let slip that he had escaped, unintentionally triggering a police manhunt.
After fleeing the village, Bobby was found by recently returned villain Clare Devine (Gemma Bissix), who wasted no time in plotting sick revenge against Bobby’s mum, Mercedes McQueen (Jennifer Metcalfe).
Viewers will know that Clare is involved in the trafficking ring that has been targeting youngsters in the Hollyoaks village, and she now has her sights set on Bobby.
Unfortunately, it seems as though this dark story will lead to Bobby’s exit.
‘Bobby might be a killer but he has no idea who he’s dealing with with Clare,’ a source told The Sun.
‘He thinks she’s helping him but the truth is much worse and she’s got plans to sell him in her sickening exploitation ring to make money.
‘Zachary’s stint on the show was always going to be a short stint as Bobby is caught between Clare and Mercedes.
‘He’s filmed his exit scenes and they are definitely going to shock. It’s full-on Hollyoaks drama.’

Prior to joining Hollyoaks, Zachary played Schuey Weaver in Waterloo Road.
The character was one of the school’s biggest troublemakers, but he faced injustice when he was framed for murder by headteacher Steve Savage and his son Billy.
