AUGUSTA, Ga. (WJBF) – The Richmond County Sheriff’s Office Bomb Squad responded to Gordon Highway at Jimmie Dyess Parkway to assist Ft. Gordon Public Safety officials with a suspicious package.
They arrived on the scene about 10 am.
Authorities are asking motorists to have patience in the area due to traffic being diverted.
