Orlando Pirates: SEVEN more midfielders heading out of Mayfair

Orlando Pirates have released one midfielder. Many more are expected to follow him out.

Orlando Pirates squad overhaul is well underway.

The Bucs have already unveiled NINE new Bucs players. Meanwhile, FOUR players have been released. So, the good news is more players will be signed. However, the bad news is that more players are set to leave – including several midfielders.

PIRATES SET TO TRIM MIDFIELD

Ndabayithethwa Ndlondlo, Goodman Mosele, Azola Tshobeni, Siphelo Baloni, Thusi Moleleki, Selaelo Rasebotja and Karim Kimvuidi all face uncertain futures at Pirates, according to KickOff.

So, most of these players will leave the club. Some will be loaned out.

Whilst, others will be sold permanently.

As reported on The South African, these THREE midfielders are amongst the FOUR Pirates players who are likely heading out of Mayfair.

Ndlondlo is likely to become the next player to leave Pirates. Meanwhile, Otladia and Kimvuidi have been linked with exits for months now. Baloni would be released or loaned out.

MIDFIELDERS FALL FURTHER DOWN THE PECKING ORDER

Meanwhile, Mosele, Tshobeni, Moleleki and Rasebetjo have struggled for gametime under Jose Riveiro.

Meaning, this is unlikely to change under Abdeslam Ouaddou. Also, Pirates have signed several talented midfielders such as Sihle Nduli and Sipho Mbule.

Therefore, the aforementioned players have now fallen further down the pecking order. So, a move to another club (whether on loan or permanently) is in their best interests.

Also, they will have a better chance playing more frequently elsewhere. Especially, in ‘smaller’ clubs in the PSL that boast less depth and buying power than Pirates.

WHICH OF THES BUCS MIDFIELDERS SHOULD STAY AND WHO SHOULD GO? WHO SHOULD BE LOANED OUT AND WHO SHOULD BE SOLD?
