Orlando Pirates look set to finalise their eleventh signing ahead of the new season, with 22-year-old TS Galaxy defender Lebone Seama training with the Soweto giants. A source has confirmed that the player is currently under close assessment by the technical team.
Seama, who joined TS Galaxy in 2022, played a pivotal role for the Mpumalanga-based side last season. He featured in 30 matches across all competitions, 22 of those in the Betway Premiership, as Tim Sukazi’s men finished a respectable fifth.
“Seama has been seen training with the Buccaneers, who are taking their time to fully assess the defender.”
Pirates’ transfer blitz gains momentum
If Pirates secure Seama’s signature, he will add to an already impressive list of new recruits at Mayfair. The club has brought in a flurry of players as they strengthen under new coach Abdelsam Ouaddou, who took over from Jose Riveiro last month.
The confirmed new arrivals so far include:
Yanela Mbuthuma and Nkosikhona Mbatha (Richards Bay)
Oswin Appollis (Polokwane City)
Masindi Nemtajela (Marumo Gallants)
Tshepang Moremi (AmaZulu)
Sinoxolo Kwayiba (Chippa United)
Tshepo Mashiloane (Baroka)
Sihle Nduli (Stellenbosch)
With Seama potentially completing the set, Pirates continue to back their ambition with bold transfer decisions.
