Wicked Cindy Beale (Michelle Collins) wreaks further havoc on her son Peter Beale’s (Thomas Law) relationship with Lauren Branning (Jacqueline Jossa) in EastEnders next week.
The couple have had their ups and downs in recent months, having been torn apart as they processed their newborn son Jimmy’s sight impairment in very different ways.
Amid their turmoil, Lauren kissed former flameZack Hudson (James Farrar), who himself had been through the emotional wringer thanks to his feud with the Mitchells over son Barney (Lewis Bridgeman).
So far, their clinch has remained a secret. Enter Cindy.
Next week, sinful Cindy gets a hunch that something is going on between arch enemy Lauren and Zack – and wastes no time in using it to her advantage.
It comes as Lauren and Peter start to get closer again, as she turns to him for reassurances about Jimmy’s diagnosis.
Lauren later finds Peter taking a guitar lesson from Jay Brown (Jamie Borthwick) after finding out that his playing helped soothe Jimmy.
Jay gives Peter some food for thought when he advises him to stop looking back and move on with Lauren and their children.

Meanwhile, Cindy spots Lauren and Zack sharing a hug, and goes to ex Ian Beale (Adam Woodyatt) with her suspicions that they are having an affair.
As Lauren and Peter enjoy a family picnic together in the Square gardens, they bond as they tell their other son Louie about Jimmy’s blindness.
However, Cindy soon arrives and makes a huge accusation, which eventually forces Lauren to admit that she kissed Zack.
Things are tense the following day when Lauren and Peter receive a set of results about Jimmy’s blindness that confirms it has been caused by a genetic mutation, not Lauren’s opioid addiction.
As they take the news in, a row breaks out – and with tempers flared, Peter later takes his anger out on Zack and hits him.
But Lauren and Peter soon have much bigger things to worry about when they return home and find that Louie and Jimmy are both missing.
What has happened to the young brothers?
