Molly-Mae Hague has opened up about her parenting struggles in a recent vlog as she reveals she broke down in tears after a conversation about her daughter.

In her latest vlog on YouTube, the former Love Island star, 26, shared an update about her life and her solo parenting weekend with her daughter Bambi, who was born in January 2023 with her partner Tommy Fury.

The former Love Island star admitted that she was struggling and had broken down during a lie coaching session when discussing her daughter.

‘Even Tommy was saying about me yesterday that he does worry about me sometimes. I think he just, he wants me to enjoy it, because he enjoys it so much,’ she said about parenting.

‘He literally finds being a dad so flipping easy. He can literally have Bambi all day to himself, he doesn’t get one bit stressed, one bit agitated, and doesn’t get frustrated.

‘And then me, it’s like, I try so hard to stay calm and collected, but I had a life coach session about it the other day and I got like really emotional.’

She added that this was a first for her and she is usually composed in her sessions.

‘I’ve actually never cried in one of my sessions with Jacqueline, but when it was about Bambi, like, I just like broke down because I think it’s been like a massive build-up at the minute of, I know, to be honest with you, it’s not something that I would like to talk about on here.’

‘And I’m very aware that sometimes I think my vlogs are just so up and down, but I think like my feelings towards motherhood are actually very much impacted by like other things that have gone on, like in my life, like just stuff that couldn’t be helped.

‘You know, I just, I think like everything, there’s been like so many things that when I actually really think about it and when I actually get very deep, I do think that,’ she then cut herself off to attend to her daughter who was playing with a reed infuser in the background.

This isn’t the first time Molly-Mae has used her platform to be honest about some of the struggles she has faced as a parent.

The influencer told fans a few weeks ago that her daughter ‘hasn’t eaten in three days’ after refusing food and only eating nibbles of snacks.

‘She hasn’t eaten in like three days because she is refusing to eat. I’m finding it really, really hard,’ she said through sniffles as she struggled with hayfever.

She also told fans: ‘I’m having one of those days, toddler mum days, where I question, “am I actually cut out for this?” I’m being very honest.

‘When I watch people’s videos and hear them talking about motherhood and how much every single minute they love, love, love it and I sit there and think, “is there something wrong with me as a mum? Because, I can’t sit there and say that every single minute I love it and I’m having one of those days.’

Fans were quick to support the star for her honesty when it came to her struggles and praised her in the comment section of the video.

‘Thank you for sharing your struggles with parenting, it makes me feel more normal. I am a mum of 2 (3.5years & 14 months) Age 2-3 with my first for me was specifically hard & I found large chunks of my day weren’t enjoyable during that time & I felt so guilty for not enjoying every second of it! xx,’ said gemmaallen6107.

‘Toddlers are hard work, they have so much to learn about the world around them but they can be super cute too, It’s not easy being a parent,’ said Sarahfrith1984.

‘The message here is so strong; I truly appreciate it,’ said VandramKortaneeva-j1t.
