Orlando Pirates – REVEALED: All new signings and what position they play

Orlando Pirates have already signed NINE new players. Here’s what position/s they play.

Orlando Pirates have signed NINE new players so far. They have recruited several players in defence, in the midfield and on attack.

Let’s take a look at what positions the Bucs have bolstered so far.

PIRATES NINE SIGNINGS AND THEIR POSITIONS

  • Right-back: Tshepo Mashiloane
  • Left-back: Nkosikhona Ndaba
  • Central Midfield: Sihle Nduli, Sipho Mbule
  • Defensive Midfield: Masindi Nemtajela
  • Winger: Tsepang Moremi, Oswin Appollis
  • Attacking Midfield: Sinoxolo Kwayiba
  • Striker: Yanela Mbuthuma

Therefore, Pirates have signed two defenders (a right-back and left back).

Mashiloane is a right back and Ndaba is a left back.

Additionally, Pirates have recruited four midfielders (one defensive midfielder, two central midfielders and one one attacking midfielder). Nemtajale is a defensive midfielder. Whilst, Nduli and Mbule are top class CM’s (central midfielders). Meanwhile, Bafana Bafana midfielder, Kwayiba is an attacking midfielder.

Also, Pirates have signed three new attackers (two wingers and a striker). Bafana Bafana wingers Moremi and Appollis will bring plenty of pace to the Bucs attack next season.

Finally, Yanele Mbuthuma is the newest Pirates striker.


NEW COACH, NEW PLAYERS AND A NEW CAPTAIN

Pirates have signed a total of NINE new players from the likes of Mamelodi Sundowns, PSL rivals, African giants as well as Bafana Bafana.

Meanwhile, as mentioned, FIVE Bucs stars have left. Additionally, another FOUR Pirates players are heading out of Mayfair.
