COLUMBIA COUNTY, Ga. (WJBF) – A Columbia County man is behind bars for allegedly raping a 6-year-old.
According to warrants from the Columbia County Sheriff’s Office, the incident happened March 1, 2017 in Martinez.
67-year-old Michael Gary Poole was arrested July 15th, 2025 and charged with rape.
He remains in the Columbia County jail.
