DS Lisa Swain (Vicky Myers) has been facing a lot of stress in recent Coronation Street scenes, and it only looks set to get worse.

Though girlfriend Carla Connor (Alison King) is trying her best to help Lisa in any way she can, her next move may prove to do more harm than good.

In last night’s episode, Carla requested a visiting order from Logan Radcliffe, hoping to get answers about the murder of Becky Swain – though she was talked out of going by Michael Bailey (Ryan Russell).

However, in upcoming scenes, the situation with Lisa escalates, causing Carla to go back on her decision.

Next week, things get off to a bad start when Lisa admits to skipping her therapy session.

She explains that instead, she visited Becky’s grave as the following day would have been their anniversary.

When the day itself arrives, Carla and Betsy Swain (Sydney Martin) are worried about Lisa, but she insists that she is fine.

During her therapy session, she finally opens up to her therapist about Becky’s death, and admits that she often wonders if Becky was corrupt, and there was more to her death than she knows.

Still deeply concerned about the toll Becky’s death has taken on Lisa, Carla decides to go to the prison and question Logan, hoping to finally get to the truth.

Meanwhile, Lisa is on a mission for answers of her own, as she breaks into DI Costello’s office and searches his emails for anything she can find on Becky.

Lisa is clearly playing a dangerous game, but will she be caught out?

Her search soon throws up something that leaves her sick to her stomach, and she wastes no time in confronting Kit Green (Jacob Roberts), having discovered that he has requested access to Becky’s files.

At home, a disgusted Lisa tells Carla that she can’t possibly go back to working with the detective constable, seeing as he went behind her back.

With Carla having also taken action without consulting Lisa, will she come clean, or keep it all to herself? And if she does tell the truth, how will Lisa react?
