AUGUSTA, Ga. (WJBF) – Tanya Barnhill Turnley was named to the District 4 commission seat on Tuesday, which was left vacant after Alvin Mason resigned last month.
Barnhill Turnley served as Mason’s campaign manager and was his appointment to the charter review committee.
In June, she was among the names mentioned that could replace Mason.
