George Knight (Colin Salmon) may have a new love interest in EastEnders.
His marriage to Elaine Peacock (Harriet Thorpe) is now well and truly over following a bumpy few years.
The situation escalated when she discovered that he’d Christmas evening in the company of his ex-wife Sabrina.
Enraged to hear that she’d tried to kiss him, George didn’t exactly make things better when he turned to his other ex-wife, Cindy Beale (Michelle Collins), for support.
Elaine contacted old mate Drew Peacock (Paul Clayton) for a pep talk, and when he told her to take consideration of her own self-worth, she made the brutal decision to sleep with a stranger she’d just met moments before.
Guilt-ridden, she couldn’t keep quiet any longer and came clean to George. His attempts at making amends and apologising fell flat, as she wasn’t willing to take half of the blame.
In the aftermath, she’s sold their family business, The Queen Vic, and he’s moved in with brother Kojo Asare (Dayo Koleosho).
Clearly troubled by recent events, he later joined Nicola Mitchell (Laura Doddington) in her bar and the two discussed their recent breakups over a drink.
Little does he realise, her son Harry (Elijah Holloway) has become entwined in a vicious deal with Ravi Gulati (Aaron Thiara), who is forcing him to push drugs from Kojo’s flat.
The deal came about in the wake of Kojo discovering the narcotics and flushing them down the toilet.
However, in upcoming scenes, George gets dangerously close to unravelling the truth.
Harry is nervous when he almost uncovers the hidden stash, and needs to find a way to get him out of the flat to allow Okie Okyere (Aayan Ibikunle Shoderu) to conduct some business there.
With time running out, he enlists Nicola’s help to distract him.
Will Harry unknowingly bring the two closer together?
